After upgrading the infrastructure between Tantow and Szczecin to permit operation at 160 km/h
and refurbishing Passow - Tantow DB works to Szczecin Glowny again.
Private operator rail4chem runs tank block trains in

[Frankfurt (Oder) -] Frankfurt Oderbrücke - Slubice [- Rzepin] (electrified)

EuroCity services are hauled by dual-system electric locomotives or diesel locomotives between Berlin and Rzepin. In winter 2008 this fleet was extended by three 186.1, leased from AngelTrains, which run through.
Recently PKP worked freight to and from Frankfurt Oderbrücke where DB and PKP electric locomotives needed to be changed. Since spring 2008 at least a couple of services towards Berlin are operated by PKP class EU 43, also 186.1 leased from AngelTrains. A homologation of Railion's class 189 for Poland is still expected.
Since July 2007 CTL works nonstop trains without change of locos.
Various TOCs work to Frankfurt/Oder only.

Passenger services were withdrawn due to mouth and foot disease on 6 October 2002. Reopening is scheduled for mid-2009.
CTL operates block trains (koke and chemical products) to Guben, where the coke trains are
taken over by Rentatrain (subsidary of CTL) and the chemistry trains change haulage to rail4chem.
